Zora Divic was born in Toronto and educated at the Nova Scotia College of Arts and Design, the Ontario College of Arts and Design as well as Concordia University. Zora's unique and diverse style has been shaped by her time in Canada and abroad. She counts both renaissance frescoes and contemporary artists as her influences, but it is her life story that truly defines her work. Having experienced the NATO bombing in Belgrade, this series draws upon its memory as it forces her to recognize the fleeting beauty that surrounds us all. Zora currently lives and works out of her studio in Toronto.
