James Lane

Biography

James Lane is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design and is influenced by the Painters Eleven artists and the Action Painters (Abstract Impressionism in North America and Art Informel in Europe). He started his career as a graphic designer and ended it as a Creative Director in a design firm in Toronto. James has subsequently transitioned to an abstract art career. He recently participated in an international group show in Paris and has been invited back for a solo show in the spring of 2009.
